In the quest becoming digital service providers (DSP), communications service providers (CSP) need to leverage the goldmine of data that they are sitting on. There are many tools and technologies available to manage this data but telcos need the right approach. Firstly, the tools used should be scalable and able to deliver faster insights.
Secondly, telcos should use a Man + Machine approach, which will provide them with tools and algorithms to run analytics programs on, and add a layer of human intervention with telecom experience. Lastly, the insights provided should be consumable and easy to interpret and hence actionable. In order to achieve that, telcos need a trusted partner who has the telecom domain expertise and analytics capabilities.
