Wangiri is considered as one of the top 5 fraud methods used by fraudsters to carry out fraudulent activities and is said to evolve further. This has led to revenue and reputational losses for the telcos. With traditional approaches contributing little to curb this menace, it is time to adopt a proactive mechanism to combat this fraud type.
