Telecom has undergone a massive shift in the last decade in the way it operates and the services it offers to customers. With new technologies and changing people behaviors, the competition has also gone up forcing telecom operators to launch new and innovative products at a much faster pace. This is interesting from customer perspective when they can choose a product that fits their usage and budget, but it has become difficult for telecom operators to manage such a huge inventory of products. They need to analyze product performance, what ROI it is generating, can we optimization it or call it off? In this point of view, we will try to understand the need of product analytics and how it can benefit CSPs while they themselves are evolving as DSPs.
